ClearType Font Face

How about using a ClearType font face for the words? They are just a little smeary and hard to read for older eyes. It would be more disability friendly. The older one gets the more the need for glasses and bifocals and such.

ClearType isn't a particular type of font, it's an effect that Microsoft developed to improve how text appears on LCD screens. So we can't 'use ClearType fonts' because there isn't such a thing.

We are looking at building some similar effect into our Nitro PDF Professional product in the future. If you are using Adobe Reader, you can turn the Smooth Text preference on.

YES!!!! Given I have bifocals and am applying for disability, I qualify on all counts, including that the print has been a bit trying at times. Although I've had glasses since 4th grade, so you don't have to be all that old before it becomes a problem. Easy to read is a good thing.
