    Save Print Settings

    I wish there was a way to have NitroPDF save its printer settings like you can in Acrobat.

    Text Clarity (Cleartype)

    Comparing Acrobat (either Reader/Writer), NitroPDF is clearly deficient in the rendering of text. On smaller font sizes, NitroPDF renders text as blocky curves, jagged edges, and is generally unsatisfactory. Is it a matter of adding a ClearType screen calibration component?

    allow autom. re-sort of pages in reverse order, e.g. after scanning.

    Sometimes I get document were pages need to be resorted (from 4-3-2-1 to 1-2-3-4). one-click resort would be great.

    Allow the background colour be set for PDF documents created with Nitro - as Adobe does.

    Adobe Acrobat professional allows the background colour to be set in created documents. Nitro correctly reads this value to display PDFs but does not allow it to be set on creation. I would suggest this ability be built into a future release.

    Windows Explorer Thumbnail Integration

    It would be great if NitroPDF could expose a plugin for thumbnail generation. Currently I have to have Adobe Reader installed to see thumbnails of PDF files in Windows Explorer whilst I'm using NitroPDF.

    Loading Speed

    I'm finding Nitro PDF to be as slow as Adobe PDF when opening the first document. 7-10 seconds seems to be the usual length of time to wait.
    I'd like to see this cut in half. Maybe a lightweight viewer only that can then switch to an editable version at a click of a button

    Improve vector rendering performance

    Rendering of complex drawings (e.g. by autocad, or circuit schematics) is very slow, and sometimes Nitro redraws a page 5 times in a row (taking up to 15 seconds or more).
    Adobe Reader, Foxit Reader and others are significantly faster...

    Allow new PDF to be "appended" to existing PDF by "save as"

    This would save the tedious business of using "insert" to build a multi-page PDF.

    You would just "save as" the new page(s) as an existing file name and would be offered the choice of replacing or appending to.

    Typewriter Tool.

    Adding a sticky note is not the same as being able to type directly onto the document. I really miss the typewrite feature of Adobe.
